Well with this rain and many still recovering from the KVR @$$ beating last week in Penticton. We will hold off the ride until next week so more tender tushies can get better.
RIde report and pics of the KVR trip coming in the next week
Have fun & hug someone special tonight
Have you ever wanted to be part of a dragon boat team? You know, those crazy people who jump into a humungous boat with their paddles at the ready and their ferocious enthusiasm waiting to be unleashed? Well, the Alberta Agriculture dragon boat team is looking for a few more eager souls to propel their boat to victory (or at least get a little exercise and have some fun). If you’re interested, contact Carol Garstad(780.986.7966) or Murray/Sandy Greer (780.986.8733) before Friday, June 18th, or Naomi Carter (email@example.com or 780.427.3134) after June 18th for more info or to join.
Practices are held Mondays at 5:45 at Telford Lake, right here in Leduc! Does it get any easier than that? Paddles and PFD’s are provided. There is a small fee, approx. $2-5/week for boat rental. Race Day is July 17th at Telford Lake, right here in Leduc! Hope you’ll be “dragon” your butt out for some fun!
Next week 15 of us will be taking off to Penticton to do some trail riding. This vid will give you an idea of what we are in for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYvv8Nr2KUY
