Hey, I hope you turn out for tonights Ride! Its going to be a great time!
Sad to say Lyle & I will not be there. Lyle is off to his lake cabin to prep for a family doo this weekend and I have had a low level head ache all day so I am not up to riding. But that doesn’t mean you should not go! Go, have great time and enjoy the weather!

How can youtell summer is finally here?

Blue sky days, quiet country roads, seven good friends, excellent patio dining, and a great bike ride!
Couldn’t have asked for a better day! 8 of us had a good day riding in the sun for a total of 58 km, dinner at Montana’s. The next weekend ride looks like it maybe out to Hastings Lake later in August. George and Judy are hinting about hosting a ride out to their cabin. Stay tuned. See ya Wednesday for the weekly ride.

Reminder Ride On Sunday

Just thot I would pop off a reminder that we will be riding tomorrow into Edmonton and back starting at 2pm at the Allliance church. We have a real nice loop planned with no major hiway or heavy traffic. 90% paved road with some hard packed counry stuff. Looks like it will be a hot one so bring lots of fluids and some sort of electrolyte repalcement. We will have a sag for water, etc. We will have dinner at some eatery with a nice patio, I hope.

Blue Sky…Woo Hooo!

The Deluge is over and I have Cabin Fever. I feel like a good ride with some friends. Our ride tonight will take us through Leduc and out to some quiet and by now quite clean roads in Nisku. After we make our way back into Leduc we will head over to Timmys/DQ and you can pick your favorite treat as a reward for your efforts.

Look forward to seeing you!

Lyle

PS, keep Sunday afternoon the 25th open for a ride. Larry will post the details in a few days.

Rain Rain go away….

Man, I am getting tired of all this rain! It seems to happen for our weekly Wednesday rides too!
Well, to sort of make up for all the lost rides and to renew aquaintences I am planning to do a Saturday or Sunday Ride on the July 24/25 weekend. There is a paid ride happpening with the ETBC (tour de Alberta) But I thought we could do our own (cheaper). I am planning a 75-100k route with a meal break half way or BBQ after. Stay tuned. If you have any ideas and would like to join me add a comment. Larry
